About

I’ve been crocheting for something like 55 years, but just discovered Tunisian crochet in 2021, when regular crochet started aggravating arthritis in my right thumb. I was thrilled to discover that I could do Tunisian with no pain! Since I’m experienced, but just learning a new technique, I thought I might share my journey, reflecting my geek’s approach to learning and discovering.

Crochet is a happy combination of tactile and visual joy that results in warm and useful things and beautiful gifts for friends and family.

There are plenty of videos about Tunisian crochet out there. What I’m doing here is presenting step-by-step, detailed instructions and photos. That way you can go at your own pace and also have a reference to go back to anytime you need it.
